It's been said that it takes a village to raise a child. The same can be said for a community. At Strong Families Deliverance Ministries, Inc., we believe that healthy families are the foundation of a thriving community. This is why community development is one of our primary objectives. Conducting weekly meetings with family and community merchants facing evictions, divorce, unruly children ,unemployement, drug and alcohol abuse, and affordable housing needs. We believe these meetings will not only help families and community members reach solutions but learn who their neighbors are. Leading to stronger loving and vibrant neighborhood.
Proudly providing property and home defense committee services:
- Referring home owners to legal services
- Accompany to court
- Making home repairs for violations
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to improve the housing situation for families in shelters and low-income people in the New York City metropolitan area. We are licensed to do construction in all 5 New York City boroughs, so our projects feature quality workmanship.
The men who owe child support and take part in our apprenticeships will help build homes for our communities. Their stipends will be substantial enough to cover their child support responsibilities.
Additionally, we encourage and support individuals who want to restore communal bonds by developing community cohesiveness and strengthening families. Many of our staff members are trained in how to improve community, relationships, friendships, and even marriages.
Community Development
Helping people learn skills that can help them find a good job and earn an income is one of our primary goals. As such, we are in the process of developing a trade school.
